My Avatar Can Save the World?
Hello students and parents,
First, let's create our avatars. To do this, log in to your
Kids A-Z account and click on Star Zone > Avatar Builder. Make sure to
create an awesome avatar that matches the theme. You can earn stars for more costume
parts by reading and taking quizzes. After creating your avatar, take a
screenshot and use it to make a storybook.
Next, think about the things you want to help in the world.
Do you want to help animals, plants, or people? What are some things you think
would make the world a better place?
Finally, let's think about how our avatars can use their
superpowers to help the world. For example, if your avatar can talk to animals,
maybe they can help lost or injured animals.
Now that we have our avatars with superpowers and a mission
to save the world, let's create a book like the ones we can read in Kids A-Z.
Draw some pictures showing your avatar helping the world and write a few words
about what your avatar is doing.
Let’s work together to make our world a better place!
We are more than halfway through the year and we have another round of recognition for Kids A-Z readers. There are some new faces on the recognition posters and some reading champions are still there. February has a few days left before we calculate another month of reading data so open your Kids A-Z app and read a few books every day. You might see your face here soon!

Today’s book is, “Yellow”.
It shows many things that are yellow around us.
After you listen and
record the book. Please do the following assignment.
1. Think of something that is yellow.
Draw a picture and label it. “The yellow _____.”
2. Take a photo of your picture and email it as an attachment to:
deliakindergarten.razkids@blogger.com.
3. On the subject line
of the email please write, "Yellow by (Student’s name, class level
and class number)"
4. In the body of the
email, you can write a message to classmates or teachers (please note that the
whole email will also be included in the post including your email signature if
you have one)

assignments that have already been posted. If you want to comment on a post,
